Colombia is the second most producer of Arabica Coffee (858,000 metric tons) Second to Brazil. Most standard Colombian Coffee is Grown by relatively small farms and wet processed (Washed). Growing elevations in Colombia range from 1200meters to 1800meters above sea level, offering plenty of opportunity for Highly rated Strictly High Grown Colombian coffees to be found. Harvest seasons vary due to geographic size of Colombia most crops being harvested between September and January.

Excelso is a Colombian coffee size grading of the beans being slightly smaller than the Suprmo grade, but otherwise identical in composition and flavor. Both Colombian Excelso and Colombian supremo may in fact come from the same farm and even tree but are just different in size and so get classified different.
