Single Origin (Roaster’s Choice)
$20.00 – $68.00Want to dive deep into the complex world of coffee?
Are you ready to find new tastes and learn about different varieties, processes, regions, and farms from all around the world?
Like a good wine, a good coffee provides a complex blend of different flavours, which together produce a range of sensory experiences. Many factors go into making a great coffee, starting at origin.
Single Origin coffee is all about traceability: knowing the plant variety, the environment that the coffee is grown in and how. And also like wine, the same coffee plant can produce differences in taste every season, depending on the weather, soils and what was happening to that plant in that season.
Decaf Colombia Excelso – Sugar Cane
$22.00 – $70.00An outstanding decaf. Our Colombia decaf coffee uses an organic compound derived from sugar cane to remove the caffeine from the coffee bean.
The decaffeination process uses a mix of acetic acid (vinegar) and natural extract fermented from sugarcane juice.
Colombia, Popayan Reserve – Washed
$20.00 – $62.00Popayán is located in the department of Cauca at 1700 metres above sea level. The regions topography is perfect to grow exceptional coffee.
The so-called Meseta de Popayan is sheltered by the Andes mountain range which helps generate homogenous climactic and altitudinal characteristics. The result is a balanced profile with floral, fruity and caramel notes.
Brazil, Mantiqueira – Natural
$20.00 – $60.00The region of Mantiqueira is located in the Minas Gerais side of Serra da Mantiqueira, in the southern part of the state of Minas Gerais. With a secular tradition of producing high quality coffee this region is considered as one of the most awarded regions in Brazil.
Papua New Guinea, Okapa A – Washed
$22.00 – $70.00This coffee comes from villages across the Okapa region in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea.
The coffee in this region grows wild without any pesticides or fertilisers. The families of these villages hand pick the coffee which is then triple hand sorted for screen size consistency.
Ethiopia, Sidamo Mirit’i – Natural
$24.00 – $70.00Produced by Karamo Coffee, Sidamo Mirit’i is an excellent example of high quality Ethiopian natural coffee. After taking first place in the 2020 Ethiopian Cup of Excellence competition, Karamo’s founder, Niguse Gemeda, has expanded his operation with a focus on exporting premium Ethiopian Arabica coffee, with extensive farms in the Sidama region and partnerships with local small-scale farmers.
With notes of stonefruits like apricot and yellow peach and a vibrant but rounded citrus acidity, Mirit’i is a delicious exploration into the world of Ethiopian coffee.
Rwanda, Kilimbi – Washed
$24.00 – $70.00On the shores of the majestic Lake Kivu sits the Kilimbi Coffee Washing Station. Surrounded by the green forests of the Nyamasheke District’s iconic rolling hills, the Kilimbi station processes coffee cherries harvested by producers from the surrounding villages, with some even being brought by boat from farmers through Lake Kivu.
This hand picked, washed, red bourbon lot is beautifully rich and sweet, with a full and syrupy body. Brimming with flavours of black cherry, plum and stonefruits its not to be missed!
Black Mamba Coffee Blend
$17.00 – $54.00This blend is a tribute to a traditional espresso with a Southern Hemisphere focus.
Black Mamba is ideal for those who prefer low to medium acidity with dark chocolate aromas and flavours of intense bakers’ chocolate, treacle and caramel.
Bold and full-bodied.
South Central Blend
$20.00 – $64.00If you’re looking for an incredibly sweet, complex and clean coffee, this blend is for you! South Central Blend has floral notes and bright acidity. We have roasted specifically to highlight all these characteristics in the cup for something a little tastier.
Picasso Blend
$18.50 – $58.00Developed by Numero Uno founder Gina, it remains to this day, the dominant favourite. It can be drunk both as a black coffee or with any style of milk – including plant-based milks. Since its inception, the blend has been changed over time due to the seasonal coffees we source. However, the roast style has always been a medium profile to suit all taste buds – not too light and not too dark.
